This account was lost and locked for nearly five years. During December 2021, access was lost. Only, by time and chance, it was recovered during January or February 2026. Much has happened since then. The project was not abandoned. It was both continued and postponed in ways. It is believed that, as a Rosetta Stone describing the creation of a general-purpose controller in a number of languages, this web history has worth; however, a lot has happened since '21, such as the use of "vibe coding" and artificially intelligent tools.
One general-purpose controller built with JAVA and Microsoft Co-Pilot might be found here. It is called PHDP and does basically all that a controller must do. And, one might build one for himself in a few hours.
It is hoped that you are still enjoying these pages. They might form a worthwhile project for a college-level course in programming languages or software engineering.
